Rules "Octopus Challenge"

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

These terms and conditions (“the Rules”) govern the “Octopus Challenge” contest (“the Contest”) administered by Busch PROtective Germany GmbH & Co. KG., based in Im Heidkamp 16, 33334 Gütersloh, Germany (“Busch PROtective,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

1. By entering, you accept and agree to abide by both the Rules and confirm to have read and understood our Privacy Notice, which can be accessed at https://busch-protective.com/datenschutzrichtlinie/.
2. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or Facebook. All information disclosed is provided to us, not to Instagram or Facebook. You hereby release those social media platforms, to the greatest extent legally permissible, from any liability in connection with the Contest.
3. Participation in the Contest is open to anyone aged 18 or over, with the exception of our employees (and their families) and those of our affiliates, our partners, our representatives and agents, and their employees, and anyone else involved in the organization of the Contest.
4. Multiple entries per person are not permitted. In the event of a dispute as to a person’s identity, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the holder of the Instagram profile associated with it.
5. To enter the Contest, visit the Busch PROtective stand (C67 in hall 12) at the Interschutz trade show in Hannover, Germany (01.06.2026 – 06.06.2026), and complete ALL of the following steps:

• (a)  Use the Busch PROtective ATR-1 helmet and the octopus hat provided at the stand as a prop.
• (b)  Show your best “Mission Face” and take or have your photo taken.
• (c)  Post the photo on your personal Instagram account.
• (d)  Tag @buschprotective_fes in the post.
• (e)  Use the hashtag #atr1challenge in the post caption.
• (f)  Follow @buschprotective_fes on Instagram.

6. The Contest is open during the full duration of the Interschutz trade show: 01.06.2026 (Monday) to 06.06.2026 (Saturday). Entries must be posted on Instagram during these dates to be eligible.
7. We do not guarantee a successful entry despite your following the above instructions, as entry may be prevented by reasons beyond our control.
8. The provision of any invalid, incorrect, or misleading information may result in disqualification from the Contest and/or forfeiture of the prize.
9. Incomplete, late, or otherwise faulty entries will not be accepted. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, if an entry is valid and to disqualify anyone we reasonably believe to be tampering with the entry process, acting in a disruptive manner, or violating the Rules.
10. Prizes: Two (2) Busch PROtective ATR-1 helmets will be awarded as follows:

• Prize 1 – Lucky Draw: One ATR-1 helmet will be awarded by random draw from all valid entries received during the Contest period.
• Prize 2 – Most Creative Entry: One ATR-1 helmet will be awarded to the entry deemed most creative by Busch PROtective’s judging panel. Judging criteria include originality, humor, aesthetics and creative expression of the ‘Mission Face.’ The judges’ decision is final.

11. The winner of each prize may choose the size (H1, H2, or H3) and color of their ATR-1 helmet from the options available at the time of prize fulfilment. No cash alternative or substitute prize is available.
12. Winners will be selected and announced no later than 13.06.2026. Winners will be notified via a public Instagram post tagging their account and/or via Instagram direct message. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative.
13. By entering the Contest, you grant Busch PROtective a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, share, and display your submitted photo and Instagram handle for promotional purposes on social media and other marketing channels, without further compensation.
14. Your Instagram account must be set to public at the time of entry and for a minimum of 30 days following the end of the Contest, so that your entry can be verified.
15. The Contest is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from the Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gütersloh, Germany.
16. We reserve the right to amend these Rules or cancel the Contest at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
